Job summary

Grande Dunes Surgery Center seeks a Registrar to ensure efficient patient admissions at our ambulatory surgery center. You will verify demographics, insurance information, and support accurate coding, billing and claims submission, contributing to a smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred (ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctor’s office).
• BLS may be required per facility standard.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient admissions: review information with patient, complete forms, copy insurance cards and photo ID.
• Collect and document all co-payments and deductibles at the time of service with receipts.
• Perform routine clerical and administrative tasks.
• Prepare, collect and deliver patient charts and pull previous medical records.
• Manage the reception area and greet patients and families professionally.
