Medical Office Receptionist- Part Time

Part-Time, 2 pm to 7:00 pm, 3-4 days a week, occasional Saturdays

Employee Target Pay Rate $17-18/hour, depending on experience

Medical Office Receptionist for a growing medical practice in McLean, VA is seeking an outgoing, career-minded, professional with strong problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills for our Medical Receptionistposition.

Medical Office Receptionist, must have some front desk/reception experience.

The ideal Medical Office Receptionistcandidate for this position uses a customer service approach and mindset to support clients and resolve conflicts from initial contact to discharge. You have a proven track record in process efficiency and forward-thinking, maximizing schedules for multiple providers, and understanding the big picture this role will play on the overall success of the practice.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients have an exceptional experience throughout
  • Helps maintains a clean and welcoming office environment.
  • Schedules appointments for evaluations, ongoing treatment, and special events.
  • Maximizes provider daily schedules and resolves scheduling conflicts to meet productivity goals.
  • Maintains consistent communication and collaboration with providers regarding scheduling needs and changes.
  • Ensures a smooth and efficient front office workflow and adapts workflows according to practice growth.
  • Manages all incoming referrals promptly.
  • Manages the waitlist by scheduling availability.
  • Soft marketing new service offerings to increase attendance and overall revenue.
  • Ensures compliance with cancellation and attendance policies while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a scheduler or front desk receptionist
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments, with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Windows 10, Outlook, etc.).

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $17.00
