Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program. Required
• 1–2 years of related work experience preferred
• If not currently certified, must obtain CMA certification within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Handle appointment scheduling, greet patients and visitors, register patients, update demographics and collect co-payments.
• Verify patient information and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Follow up with patients postoperatively and coordinate with hospital orders.
• Assist in procedures, stock supplies, process instruments, and schedule surgical cases as needed.
• Prepare examination rooms, take vital signs, and document vitals.
• Maintain compliance with conduct policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support physicians and coordinate with co-surgeons as required.
