New York City's Largest Dermatology Practice

We're a full-service dermatology practice with 50+ locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Delaware, and Philly!

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical practice manager for a growth-oriented multi-site dermatology practice in Queens. This position requires a hands-on manager with exceptional communication skills, a thorough knowledge of office operations, human resource management, business development, and financial oversight.

We seek a dynamic, experienced, self-motivated, knowledgeable Medical Office Manager with excellent managerial, administrative, and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 2 years’ + experience in Hospitality or Medical management as a minimum;
  2. Experience in managing a team;
  3. Ability to give direction with confidence;
  4. Hard-working and willing to be part of a team;
  5. Desire to grow with the practice;
  6. Flexible availability;
  7. Option for medical benefits as well as 401k.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures;
  2. Knowledge of health insurance policies and guidelines, including copays, coinsurances, referrals, and verification of insurances;
  3. Handling patients' records discretely and updating demographic and financial information;
  4. Protecting and securing medical records;
  5. Knowledge and utilization of EMR, medical coding, and billing relevant to practice;
  6. Overseeing billing and collections portion of the office;
  7. Working effectively with vendors;
  8. Managing inventory and equipment;
  9. Excellent written and communication skills;
  10. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
  11. Ability to work with a diverse population;
  12. Good time management skills;
  13. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Spreadsheets;
  14. Scheduling appointments, answering phones, and ensuring office effectiveness and efficiency;
  15. Willingness to float to other offices when colleagues are out or to grow more in the company.

Job Type: Full-time

The pay range for this role is: 62,400 - 65,000 USD per year (OCEANSIDE (OS))
