Medical Office Associate - Walk In Clinic

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Penn State Health Lime Spring Clinic is located in iconic Lancaster, PA! Acting primarily as a general medicine office with Orthopedics, Endocrinology, and Infectious Diseases as featured sub-specialties, the Lime Spring Clinic is seeking a Medical Office Associate to join the team. This clinic sees an average of 72 patients/day. The Lime Spring Walk-In Clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30a to 8p. The selected MOA can anticipate a schedule of 3-day/12-hour shifts and an accompanying 4-hour shift, as well as completing every other Saturday. The Medical Office Associate will be expected to check patients in and out of appointments, schedule follow-up appointments, verify demographics and insurance, as well as issue no-show letters to patients who have missed appointments. The ideal Medical Office Associate will demonstrate strong customer service skills and display punctuality and dependability in their work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
