Qualifications

Minimum of 4,000 hours of work experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting within the last five years.
Associate degree or higher in related field.
CMA or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials.
Evidence of teaching ability and/or previous teaching experience in the field.
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Learning Management System technology to maintain grades and content.

Responsibilities

Deliver lecture and lab instruction for 15 credit hours per semester and maintain 5 hours of office time per week for student consultation.
Develop innovative curriculum with colleagues to address student needs.
Evaluate student performance using industry standards to ensure competency.
Manage program needs and budget to maintain high-quality resources.
Engage with students, healthcare professionals, educators, and the public in a professional manner.
