Iredell Health System is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to support physicians and patient care management under supervision. The role includes assisting in nursing care, handling front office and clinical tasks, and protecting patient health information.

The Float MOA will travel among Iredell Physician Network clinics, with duties spanning scheduling, basic venipuncture, and clerical work, all while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining patient privacy.

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Venipuncture training and ability to perform venipuncture preferred.
• Clerical experience including scheduling, payments, billing/coding, medical records; strong computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and customer service driven.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physician in nursing care and direct patient care management.
• Support front office and clinical areas as needed; access patient health information.
• Maintain and use medical office equipment and scheduling systems; ensure accuracy of records.
