The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute seeks an Administrative Assistant 1 for the James | Spielman Breast Center Mammography.

This entry‑level role centers on coordinating testing, arranging consultations, and gathering information to support patient care. You will involve patients in directing their care plan in a confidential, orderly, and cost‑effective manner, with standard 40‑hour weeks, and close collaboration with the Mammography

Qualifications

• Six months experience (600 hours training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex.
• 6 mos. experience in office practices and procedures.
• 6 months experience in customer service.
• Some positions require one year related medical secretarial experience or completion of an associates degree program with three courses in medical terminology plus 3 mos. experience in use of word processing equipment.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for arranging the necessary testing, consultation and information gathering to facilitate achievement of desirable patient outcomes.
• Involves the patient in directing their plan of care in confidential orderly and cost effective manner.
