Responsibilities

• Schedules and reschedules appointments and diagnostic tests using scheduling software.
• Collects and records vital signs.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care provided and maintains records.
• Manages equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking and cleaning.
• Handles payments and co-pays at registration; may reconcile cash at end of shifts.
• Communicates with insurers, external agencies, patients, and team members.
• Arranges hospital admissions and coordinates patient transfers as needed.
• Greets patients and prepares them for procedures.
