Job summary

Capital Medical Group, Independence Physician Management (IPM), a UHS subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for its Washington, DC onsite clinic. You will support patient care under physician supervision, perform intake, vital signs, venipuncture, and prepare exam rooms.

The role requires a High School Diploma, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, and BLS/CPR. Familiarity with EMR, front desk coverage, and strong communication skills are essential; bilingual

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician direction.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Perform venipuncture and related procedures per physician guidance.
• Document in the Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms and cover front desk as needed.
