Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for our Mendota, IL practice. The role blends clinical and administrative duties, aligned with your Medical Assistant training and experience, supporting patient care and front-office tasks.

Minimum six months of healthcare facility experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic health records are preferred. Education includes a Medical Assistant program; OSF Prime Path Bridge participation is also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ experience with computer, Microsoft Office and email.
• Minimum 6 months’ healthcare facility clinical experience.
• Clinical education including OSF Medical Group Prime Path Bridge Program.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Some knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and administrative duties per Medical Assistant training.
• Work in both clinical and front office functions.
• Perform duties according to the specific needs of the practice.
