Qualifications

  • BCLS certification (in-person training only, American Heart Association).
  • Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and aseptic technique.
  • A team-first attitude and commitment to providing respectful, quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms: sanitize, stock supplies, and ensure medications/vaccines are ready for the day.
  • Review upcoming appointments and identify gaps in care (mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, etc.).
  • Escort patients to rooms and manage patient flow to maximize efficiency.
  • Take and record vitals, patient history, allergies, medications, and current concerns.
  • Assist with procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitors, and in-office testing.
  • Collect and process lab specimens; track and document results.
  • Perform quality control on equipment and testing materials.
  • Help at the front desk when needed - greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insurance.
  • Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient practice operations.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our clinical team, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care and keeping our practice running smoothly. Your day-to-day work will directly impact our patients' health and experience.

Salary Range

USD $26.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
