Job Overview
This position is key to centralized patient appointment scheduling. Candidates must possess the ability to provide a positive patient oriented experience for all customers both over the phone and in person. The candidate must possess strong computer skills and exhibit attention to detailin the provision of medicalscheduling services to the patient, family members, visitors and physicians in theAccess Centersetting. Assists in scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Obtains demographic, insurance and other relatedinformation from patients when registering for appointment. Assists in coordinating patient payments, posting charges, issuing receipts andposting payments and other duties as assigned.Shifts will vary based on department needs.
Education and Experience
Completion of High School or GED required.
