Responsibilities

• Manage a complex medical malpractice caseload from inception through verdict.
• Handle all phases of litigation: evaluation, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials with strong trial advocacy.
• Prepare witnesses and develop trial strategies and evidentiary materials.
• Collaborate with partners, associate attorneys, and staff on case strategy and legal analysis.
• Draft and argue dispositive and procedural motions.
• Develop and execute trial strategies including exhibits and evidentiary materials.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide timely updates.

Duties

• Independently manage a caseload involving medical malpractice claims.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials, emphasizing trial advocacy and courtroom skills.
• Prepare and examine witnesses, develop compelling case strategies, and ensure thorough trial preparation.
• Collaborate closely with partners, associate attorneys, and support staff on case strategy and legal analysis.
• Draft and argue dispositive and procedural motions with a focus on strategic litigation outcomes.
• Participate in the development and execution of trial strategies, including preparing trial exhibits and evidentiary materials.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing timely updates and legal counsel throughout the litigation process.
