gpac is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney in Indianapolis, IN to join its established litigation team. The ideal candidate will manage complex medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution and work closely with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

With 5+ years in litigation, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, and an active Indiana Bar license, you will develop a sophisticated practice in medical malpractice and professional liability while benefiting from gpac's commitment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation preferred.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Indiana Bar license and in good standing.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Analyze medical records, evidence, and complex legal issues.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Assist with or take an active role in trial proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other professionals.
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to develop litigation strategies.
• Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines throughout the litigation process.
