Responsibilities include client interviews, discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial work, with extensive medical and legal research, drafting pleadings, and collaboration with co-counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor in good standing with the SC Bar or another state where work will be done.
• Experience in a plaintiff law firm preferably in handling medical malpractice cases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Professional discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in prosecution of medical malpractice cases from intake to trial.
• Conduct medical and legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Collaborate with attorneys to plan case strategy and supervise staff.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and coordinate discovery.
• Maintain client communications and case files with confidentiality.
