Qualifications

• Manage civil litigation matters from development through hearings and resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery and other litigation documents.
• Review medical records, evidence and expert materials relevant to cases.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts and team members.
• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
• Approximately 2 to 10 years of litigation experience required.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and drafting skills.
• Experience taking depositions and attending hearings.
• Writing sample required.
• Excellent organization and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters with focus on medical malpractice defense.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions and discovery.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings and case conferences.
