We specialize in professional liability, medical, and healthcare litigation, covering matters such as medical malpractice, healthcare, employment, toxic torts, product liability, and more. We're seeking a dynamic *Associate Attorney* focusing on medical malpractice defense to work alongside our experienced trial attorneys in representing hospitals, academic medical centers, and a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals.

*Who You Are:*

* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Admission to the New York State Bar
* Civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for medical malpractice defense
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
*What You Will Be Doing? *

* Independently manage a substantial caseload of medical malpractice defense cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and conducting legal research.
* Draft, review, and respond to discovery documents and requests, ensuring thorough attention to detail and compliance with procedural requirements.
* Regularly represent clients in court for hearings, conferences, and motions, demonstrating strong advocacy and strategic skills.
* Work closely with Partners and other senior attorneys on complex legal projects, offering insights, conducting case analyses, and helping refine litigation strategies.
