Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney We are the largest and oldest medical defense firm in New York. We specialize in professional liability, medical, and healthcare litigation, covering matters such as medical malpractice, healthcare, employment, toxic torts, product liability, and more. We're seeking a dynamic *Associate Attorney* focusing on medical malpractice defense to work alongside our experienced trial attorneys in representing hospitals, academic medical centers, and a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals.

*Who You Are:*
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Admission to the New York State Bar
* Civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for medical malpractice defense
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
*What You Will Be Doing? *
* Independently manage a substantial caseload of medical malpractice defense cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and conducting legal research.
* Draft, review, and respond to discovery documents and requests, ensuring thorough attention to detail and compliance with procedural requirements.
* Regularly represent clients in court for hearings, conferences, and motions, demonstrating strong advocacy and strategic skills.
* Work closely with Partners and other senior attorneys on complex legal projects, offering insights, conducting case analyses, and helping refine litigation strategies.
