Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Active Indiana Bar license in good standing
- J.D. from ABA-accredited law school
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Analyze medical records and complex legal issues
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial prep
- Assist with or take an active role in trial proceedings
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
- Develop litigation strategies with attorneys and staff
- Maintain organized case files and deadlines
