Job summary

CSK seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group. Our Medical Malpractice attorneys defend doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers and facilities.

The role focuses on taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and representing clients at hearings, mediations, and trials, with strong emphasis on research, analysis of case law, and clear communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida attorney
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Prior civil litigation experience

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and analyze case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients
