Job summary

Bestica is hiring a Supply Technician to provide services at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. The role requires knowledge of USAF supply systems (DMLSS), at least 6 months in a warehouse setting, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

A valid driver’s license and safety compliance are essential. Responsibilities include receiving, storage, verification of supplies, and handling of controlled/dangerous materials.

Qualifications

• The contractor shall have a good working knowledge of the USAF governing supply systems to include; Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• A minimum of 6 months experience is required in the supply or warehouse setting, Medical Supply is ideal.
• The contractor is required to have a valid driver’s license and shall be required to operate hand trucks.
• Education: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a thorough knowledge of OSHA and AFOSH ground safety standard, Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel protective equipment for warehouse operation.
• Contractor must have a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place with their company, and the company must provide a copy to the Program Manager of this task order.
• Contractor must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform regular physical work required for handling and moving medical supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform supply technician activities including receiving, delivering and disposition of supplies, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, verification of materials against receiving documents, reporting discrepancies and damages, routing materials to storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials.
• Verify delivery, receipt, storage, and issue of incoming supplies and apply handling procedures for controlled items, gases, hazardous materials, and refrigerated/frozen materials.
• Transport supplies and equipment between medical logistics and base support activities and customers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in hi-bay and equipment room, and recycle cardboard.
