Job summary

Bestica is seeking a Medical Supply Logistics Technician to support the 711 HPW/CSS Medical Readiness at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. The role involves managing medical supply operations, equipment, and WAR material, following AFI-driven procedures, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, 12 months in DoW/USAF supply, and DMLSS system knowledge; a valid U.S. driver’s license and forklift cert are required, with NDA in place.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months of War Reserve Material experience in DoW supply/warehouse, incl. USAF systems, nomenclature, stock management.
• Extensive knowledge of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.

Responsibilities

• Perform supply activities per standard operating procedures, safety regulations and supply discipline directives.
• DMLSS System: Order, purchasing and receipt of items.
• Receiving: verify inbound materials against documents, check for damage, route to storage.
• Storage management: store, stack, and palletize materials safely.
• Inventory management: rearrange stored materials, conduct physical inventories, report discrepancies.
• Shipping/Issue: prepare items for shipment and deliver to authorized personnel.
• Administration: assist with local property utilization and cataloging actions.
• Verify delivery, receipt, storage, and issue of incoming supplies.
• Assist with management of funds and expenditures for WRM maintenance and upgrades.
• Safely operate a government vehicle to transport supplies between medical logistics and base activities.
• Operate hand trucks and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per AF safety standards.
• Sweep and mop warehouse floors; dispose of cardboard in recycling dumpsters.
• NDA shall be provided to Government Program Manager by start of performance.
