Job summary

Mission Pet Health invites a Medical Lead Veterinarian to join Intermountain Pet Hospitals in Meridian, Idaho. You will lead and mentor a team of DVMs, model medical excellence, and drive hospital performance while practicing as an associate veterinarian.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid state license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience.
• Servant leadership with strong collaboration and retention skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to understand hospital finances and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DVM team with regular performance discussions and development goals.
• Model medical excellence in client service and efficient hospital operations.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to develop annual operating plans and achieve EBITDA targets.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and oversee externship/mentorship programs.
• Represent the hospital in community engagement and outreach.
