Qualifications

Duties are to provide clinical support for the diagnosis of foreign and domestic animal diseases by molecular-based methods. This position is to support state efforts for increased foreign animal disease surveillance, particularly high pathogenicity avian influenza and classical swine fever. Applicants must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail as mandatory. Individuals must be able to follow directions well, be effective team workers, and have experience in quality control for laboratory testing. Position will work in a BSL3 laboratory and must observe all procedural guidelines for laboratory operation.
