Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ASCP certification preferred.
• AMT certification considered equivalent to ASCP.
• Experience in an automated clinical laboratory and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis of body fluids and tissues and verify data accuracy for diagnosis.
• Maintain quality control and instrument maintenance; troubleshoot as needed.
• Provide mentorship to new lab staff and students; maintain safety and infection control.
• Remain current in the field and complete mandatory education.
• Perform miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned in a high reliability environment.
