Pride Health is hiring a Clinical Lab Technologist our client’s medical facility in Manhattan, NY 10029. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

• Clinical Lab Technologist. 35 hours per week (5x8s, Days: 5 am to 1 pm)

• Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED

• BLS (AHA)

• Bachelors degree

Clinical Lab Technologist:

• Collecting, receiving, labeling, and processing patient samples like blood, urine, and tissue for analysis, this also includes preparing samples for various tests, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain sample integrity.

• Conducting a variety of routine and specialized tests in areas like hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and more.

• Utilizing and maintaining laboratory equipment such as microscopes, automated cell counters, analyzers, and other specialized instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.

• Examining and analyzing test results, identifying abnormalities, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data.

• Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, adhering to established standards and protocols.

Experience required:

• 2 years of Clinical Lab Technologist experience is required.

• Histology background required.

• Shifts: 35 hours per week (5x8s, Days: 5 am to 1 pm)

• Hourly Pay Range: $54/hr to $58/hr on W2
