HCA Healthcare is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) for PRN coverage at Medical City Las Colinas in Irving, TX. The position involves performing chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic tests across multiple laboratory sections to support patient care.

The role requires MLT certification within 6 months of start date and an Associate degree, with a preference for at least one year of hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and other designated areas.
• Maintain quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment, and monitoring quality control measures.

What You Will DoInThis Role:

• You will perform chemical, bacteriological,serological,and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.

• You will produceaccurateresults in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and otherareasdesignated.

• You willmaintainquality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipmentutilizingapproved testing procedures, verifying equipment function through routine maintenance and monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
