Lancesoft INC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for our client in Coos Bay, Oregon. The role involves performing clinical lab testing to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment, while upholding accuracy and patient care standards.

The position requires an Associate Degree in MLT or CL S, meeting CLIA-88 requirements, experience with LIS/HIS and lab equipment, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in medical laboratory field.
• Meet CLIA-88 laboratory personnel requirements.
• Working knowledge of lab equipment and LIS/HIS systems.
• Strong organizational, communication and critical-thinking skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex clinical laboratory testing.
• Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Analyze and report accurate laboratory results.
• Utilize LIS and HIS for documentation and reporting.
• Follow CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and hospital quality standards.
• Maintain laboratory safety and infection control practices.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment when necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
• Ensure accurate specimen handling, processing, and documentation.
