American Health Associates in Pinellas, FL is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a part-time AM shift. You will perform a full range of laboratory testing and report results to physicians, adhering to CLIA standards and lab procedures.

Requirements include an associate degree in biological sciences or chemistry, completion of an MLS program or three years of clinical lab experience, and a Florida MT/MLT license with ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biology/chemistry required.
• MLS program completion or 3 years clinical lab experience required.
• Florida MT/MLT license with ASCP/AMT/AAB certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and report hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, automated chemistry and immunology results.
• Perform, interpret and record quality control data in all departments.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation.
• Call critical results to physicians promptly.
• Manage inventory and department supplies.
