Job summary

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) performs moderate complexity clinical laboratory tests at our Main Campus, participates in quality control, and handles specimen collection and processing.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician program required.
• No prior experience required.
• CPR for health care providers; Montana licensure within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with our mission, values and service expectations.
• Follows procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses and reporting.
• Maintains records of proficiency testing and quality control activities.
• Adheres to quality control policies and corrective action procedures.
• Identifies problems affecting test performance and reports them appropriately.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
