Responsibilities

• Supports and models the hospital's mission, safety and service expectations.
• Follows procedures for specimen handling, processing, and test reporting.
• Maintains records showing proficiency testing samples are tested correctly.
• Adheres to quality control policies and instrument calibration.
• Identifies and reports problems affecting test performance or results.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
