Job description

Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, an Associate’s degree in Applied Science/Medical Laboratory Technology is required. ASCP Certification eligibility is required.

Experience: Internship preferred; one year of relevant clinical laboratory experience preferred.
