Location: 1822 North Main Street, Suite 302, Fall River, MA 02720

Hours: Shift starting between 8:00pm to 10:00pm (8hr shift)

Full Time: Benefits Eligible

Eligible for Shift Differential

In this role, you will:

1. Perform a vital part of the patient care process through embedding and preparing slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures.
2. Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance.
3. Recognize when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, staining.
4. Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
5. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

1. Associates Degree in Biology or other related science field; Bachelor’s of Science in Biology or related science field preferred.
2. ASCP HT/HTL certified or eligibility to sit for the certification exam required; and must meet State and Federal requirements for the position and duties to be performed.
3. Previously worked in the Histology field for 1 year (preferred).
4. At least 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred).
