Qualifications

• Associates degree in Laboratory Science required.
• Bachelors degree in laboratory or biological sciences required.
• MLS certification or registry eligible with Board of Registry exam within 12 months of employment.
• ND licensure if practicing in North Dakota.
• Continuing education credits as required for license.
• BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing.
• Follows SOPs and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel and collaborates with other departments across the enterprise.
• Demonstrates critical and independent judgment in decision‑making and problem‑solving.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
