Job summary

Resolution Think LLC, through its joint venture Cognito Systems, LLC, seeks experienced Medical Laboratory Technician candidates to support Madigan Army Medical Center at JBLM. You will handle specimen processing, LIS/MHS Genesis entry, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.

The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to work in a fast-paced military medical environment while onboarding under government credentials.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an NAACLS or ABHES accredited MLT program or AMT-acceptable program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of MLT experience in the past two years.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, accession, and process specimens from Madigan and DHA labs.
• Enter specimens and lab requests into LIS and MHS Genesis.
• Verify specimen integrity, timing, labeling, containers, and test readiness.
• Prepare and distribute specimens to appropriate sections or for transport.
• Process blood, urine, and other body fluids per procedures.
• Prepare biological waste for proper disposal.
• Support MLTs and CLSs; communicate specimen requirements to clinical departments.
• Greet patients, determine eligibility and testing priority, verify orders.
• Maintain HIPAA, SOPs, PPE, and Joint Commission standards.
• Perform duties safely, timely, and with quality focus.
