Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Technician V to support our client’s medical facility based in Nashville, TN 37236. This is a 10-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician V

Pay Range: $35.66 - $38 per hour

1st and 3rd Shift Available

Duration: 10 Months +

*The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing patient testing for busy Core Lab working Hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis.
• Performing patient testing, bone marrow collection, staining, processing.
• Supporting various departments including Hem, Coag, Urine, Oncology, Dispatch, Microbiology, and Respiratory testing.

Education:

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree; MLT certification is acceptable.
• Certifications: ASCP or AMT.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science, or
• BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science with at least 1 year of relevant training or experience, equivalent to Medical Technology school training.
• OR 90 Semester hours including Biology, Chemistry, and Math, with completed accredited Clinical Laboratory training or equivalent experience.
• OR an Associate’s degree in medical technology.
