Job summary

Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join a dedicated lab team. You will perform chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology tests, report results, and support clinicians with accurate data.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.
• Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.
• Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.

What qualifications you will need:

• (MLT) Medical Laboratory Technician, or (CLT/CLS) Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist, or (MLS) Medical Laboratory Scientist must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
