• Maintain equipment and manage specimen collection.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Primary responsibility is with the accurate and timely performance of laboratory tests as assigned. The Lab Section Leader is responsible for there are of Lab: Chemistry, Microbiology, Hematology or Blood Bank. They are also responsible for the overall operations of the laboratory. This includes providing and supervising high quality lab tests, quality control, preventive maintenance of equipment, computer activities, and collection of specimens. Population served: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Performs other duties as assigned or necessary.

What qualifications you will need:

• (MLS) Medical Laboratory Scientist, or (MT-AAB) Medical Technologist, or (MLT) Medical Laboratory Technician
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
• Two years as Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician required
