Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent education/experience.
- Within 6 months of hire: ASCP National Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Within 6 months of hire: AMT National Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Within 6 months of hire: AAB National Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.
- Upon hire: National Laboratory Medical/Clinical Scientist/Technologist.
- Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Facility Managed)
Responsibilities
- Provides accurate, timely, and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Applies technical knowledge to perform testing and support laboratory operations in accordance with established procedures.
- Work in a team to ensure high-quality patient care in the Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center Laboratory.
