Job summary

Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician to provide accurate, timely testing in a fast-paced hospital lab. This 40-hour weekly role is onsite in Kodiak, AK, with a competitive hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible hires.

You will work under established procedures, applying technical knowledge to run tests, ensure quality results, and support patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• Certification within 6 months: ASCP/AMT/AAB/National Government Lab tech.
• Within 30 days: BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory testing of patient samples.
• Support laboratory operations according to procedures.
