Job summary

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Tech for a full-time role in Nashville, TN. The position supports processing and analyzing diverse patient samples under supervision. Shifts available: Evenings (2p-10:30p) or Nights (10:00p-6:30a), with rotating weekends.

The candidate should have an accredited MLT program and an active Tennessee license, with preference for Associate Degree holders and some clinical lab experience. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience with processing and analyzing patient samples.
• Ability to follow laboratory protocols and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze patient specimens across Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Hematology or other lab areas.
• Maintain specimen identification and records.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor quality control and ensure technical accuracy of tests and final reports.
