Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing across a busy clinical lab. You will follow SOPs, maintain safety and quality standards, and collaborate with multiple departments to support patient care.

Candidates must hold an Associates degree in Laboratory Science, or a Bachelor's in laboratory/biological sciences, plus national certification or registry eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Laboratory Science is required.
• Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences is required.
• National certification for MLT or CLT through an approved agency (e.g., ASCP) or registry eligible.
• Registry eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months.
• ND applicants must be licensed or have provisional license by the ND Board.
• Maintain continuing education credits for licensure.
• BLS certification may be required.

Qualifications Associates degree in Laboratory Science required. MLT Bachelors degree in laboratory or biological sciences required. MLS Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); or be registry eligible.

Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment.

If working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed or have a provisional license, by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.

Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to the state requirements as needed for license and certifications.

May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
