BJC HealthCare's Christian Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for night shift in St. Louis. Join a collaborative clinical lab team and contribute to high-quality testing and patient care.
The role covers specimen processing, routine and complex testing, QC, instrument maintenance, and strict adherence to CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and safety guidelines. 1+ year experience preferred; ASCP/AMT/AAB certification preferred but not required.
Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Location: Christian Hospital Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Rotating weekends and holidays

Blood Bank provides cross matching of blood products for transfusion & routine typing. Also provides a full range of antibody identification services including panels, absorptions, direct antiglobulin (Coombs) tests, eluates, titers, and phenotyping.
Role Purpose
The Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) II performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good clinical laboratory practice
