## Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)Applylocations: HPH Highland Park Hospitaltime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R44328**Hourly Pay Range:**$30.46 - $45.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)* Location: Highland Park Hospital* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time* Hours: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm, e/o weekend and rotating holidays**What you will do:*** Able to solve technical and interdepartmental problems related to the various Laboratory areas* Capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of results and taking corrective action or notifying appropriate supervisory personnel.* Good communication and organizational skills.* Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others.**What you will need:*** Education: Associate's degree and the requisite courses to meet CLIA requirements for moderate to high complexity testing.* Certification: MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent and ongoing active certification is strongly preferred.* Experience: MT/MLS: Experience preferred. Internal MLT Candidate: Two (2) years of experience at NorthShore performing moderate to high complexity testing beyond POC/Waived testing with an achieved competency level of a Laboratory Associate.
