Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and demonstrate proficiency in clinical laboratory work across multiple sections, contributing to accuracy, safety, and patient care within a team of dedicated professionals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications; hospital experience is preferred. You will participate in quality control, equipment maintenance, and staff training as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and relevant certification requirements as listed in the job posting.
• Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Certified Medical Lab, or Certified Lab Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist is required.
• At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• You will maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
• You will maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
• You will assist with laboratory training programs as required.

Education
