Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our clinical laboratory team. The role involves performing chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures across various lab sections to support patient care.

You will maintain records of results and quality control, participate in equipment maintenance, and assist with training programs as needed. An appropriate MLS/CLS certification and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• MLS/CLS or equivalent certification is required
• Minimum 1 year hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more lab sections.
• Maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
• Maintain equipment and record preventive/remedial maintenance.
• Assist with laboratory training programs as required
