Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our clinical laboratory team. You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures, maintain records of performance and patient results, and assist with equipment maintenance.

The role also supports training programs to ensure high-quality results. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and hospital-based experience, with MLS/CLT/MLT/CLS or AMT credentials typically considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Credentials include MLS/CLT/MLT/CLS or AMT as applicable.
• At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
• Maintain equipment; record preventive and remedial maintenance.
• Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
