Job summary

ProMedica’s Monroe Regional Hospital Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform complex tests, interpret results, and support clinical teams. The role emphasizes accuracy, critical thinking, and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.

• Requires Doctoral, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution, or 60 semester hours with specified medical technology/science coursework.
• ASCP MLS or Categorical eligibility at time of hire with certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory tests essential for diagnosing and treating patients.
• Interpret test results and provide explanations to clinical teams.
