What you need to know about this position:

• High-tech lab that includes areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulations, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and a full Microbiology Department
• High energy department utilizing a state-of-the-art automation line, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems
• The base hourly rate for this position is $25.73. Compensation is determined based on experience and includes shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly rate is part of a comprehensive rewards package, which includes benefits for qualifying positions.
• Work schedule: evenings; 40 hours/week; 8-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM (start times may vary); every other weekend and holiday rotation with the team.

What is required for this position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related field
• Certification as MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP), CM, or MT (AMT)
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, and listen frequently; lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Ability to use a microscope, with excellent hand-eye coordination and color discrimination
• Ability to maintain concentration amidst interruptions and work effectively in a high-stress environment
