• Role may require MT/MLS certification depending on degree and specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived/point of care, moderate, and high complexity CLIA testing as appropriate to role and competency.
• Investigates and resolves issues with equipment, test results, specimens, and workflow.
• Performs quality control, proficiency testing, and monitors accuracy of testing.
• Prepares reagents and assists in preparing standards and controls.
• Monitors reagent inventory and assists with supplies.
